Tipping
Picking the right tip amount for a new service is always a little awkward, so here's some guidance.
Standard tip
Most customers tip 20% from their appointment page. Your tip is based on your service fee, not on your groceries. So a 20% tip on $135 is $27.
💡 Your tip is an important source of income for your chef. If you choose to tip less than 20% due to poor service, please contact support so we can improve. 👍
When do I tip?
Set your tip by 5 pm the night prior to your appointment on your appointment page. If you want to tip your Elf after they cook, you can tip in cash or reply to your post-appointment email.
You can change your default tip (which applies to all new appointments) from your profile page.
